Ali's Pedigree

ALI

High Sierra Alabaster

High Sierra Alabaster has an excellent pedigree with the top yellow bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree. Her Sire is 4X GMPR HRCH Black Forest's "Bear" Grits MH. Bear has distinquished himself with numerous State and National titles including:

2007 North American Gun Dog Association Open Pointing National Champion.

2006 Wyoming State Pheasant Pointing Champion

2005 NAGDA National Championship , 2nd in doubles, 5th in Open Pointing

2003 Colorado Quail Classic Doubles Champion

2003 NAGDA Open Pointing National Champion

2002 NAGDA Doubles National Champion

On the Dams side Ali has a strong Field Trial pedigree that includes FC AFC Rebel with a Cause, the top yellow point Lab in 2002. National Champion Call Me Mister Independence and Aces Hi III. This combination of field trial lines and top pointing lines gives hunters and competitors the best of both worlds.  Her build is muscular and full and Ali has a blocky head for a female. Ali has great natural hunting instincts, including a natural point and the desire to retrieve on land or water. Ali is training for her CPR and will continue after her litter of pups. Ali gets plenty of house time and has a temperament that gets along great with people and other Labs.

There is no doubt that Beau is an excellent dog.  He has excelled in all aspects of the hunting dog game.  Currently, Beau is an American Pointing Lab Association (APLA) Grand Master Pointing Retriever (GMPR), a North American Hunting Retriever Association (NAHRA) Grand Master Hunting Retriever Champion (GMHRCH), a Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) Hunting Retriever Champion, and an American Kennel Club (AKC) Master Hunter (MH).  These are the among the highest titles in all four of these field test organizations.  Beau passed the 2006 NAHRA National Invitational as well as the NAHRA Rocky Mountain Regional to attain 1000 senior points, his GMHRCH title, and will be a member of the NAHRA Hall of Fame.  Beau is exceedingly consistent.  This is equivalent to 50 Senior Hunt Test passes.  Over this span, Beau has only failed to pass 3 tests which included not passing his first two Senior tests.  This string of multiple passes includes the Richard A. Wolter's National Invitational twice (the only two times that it has been run when he was eligible).  He just started running HRC the summer of 2007.  He passed eight tests in a row (every test he ran) to earn his HRCH title. Beau is the first dog in North America to hold these three titles at the same time and , to our knowledge, is still the only dog.  Besides being a master of the hunt test game, Beau is a great hunting dog.  Beau took second place in the Open Pointing Division of the Colorado State Pheasant Hunting Championships.  Beau has hunted and retrieved hundreds of ducks, pheasants and geese.  I can't remember the last time that I had to leave the goose pit to find a wounded goose (including retrieves of over 3/4 of a mile) thanks to Beau.  Lastly, and maybe most importantly, Beau has a wonderful disposition.  He has always been a loving and gentle companion who is one the most cherished members of our family.  It is also important to know that Beau is 100% amateur trained.
